About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Technology & Innovation Manager to drive the identification, piloting, and deployment of advanced technologies across an international terminal network. In this role, you will focus on practical applications of robotics, drones, portable inspection tools (NDT), and smart field technologies to enhance operational safety, improve asset reliability, and increase maintenance efficiency.
You will act as the link between Maintenance, Operations, and Technology teams, ensuring that innovative solutions are translated into scalable, real-world applications that can be successfully deployed across multiple terminal locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize emerging technologies, including robotics, drones, NDT solutions, and sensor-based inspection technologies
• Build and manage a structured innovation pipeline from concept through implementation
• Design, coordinate, and execute pilot projects in collaboration with terminal teams and external technology partners
• Evaluate pilot results and drive the standardization and rollout of successful solutions across the terminal network
• Develop innovative inspection and maintenance approaches, including:
  • In-service tank inspections
  • External drone-based inspections
  • Portable and advanced inspection technologies
• Ensure seamless integration of new field technologies with existing systems such as CMMS and Terminal Management Systems (TMS)
• Support and train local site teams to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and ways of working
• Deliver measurable improvements in operational performance, risk reduction, asset availability, and CAPEX/OPEX optimization
• Collaborate closely with Technical, Operations, IT/OT, and Procurement teams to align innovation initiatives with business objectives

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, or a related discipline)
• 5–10 years of experience in operations, maintenance, reliability, or technical roles within industrial environments
• Proven affinity with or hands-on experience in robotics, drones, advanced inspection technologies, or industrial automation solutions
• Strong understanding of maintenance and asset integrity challenges within industrial operations
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership and external partners
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to experiment, learn, and scale successful solutions
• Analytical, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a multidisciplinary and international environment
